2025-26 Chess Schedule 


Chaminade High School 
Dolan Family Science, Technology & Research Center
Located on the corner of Jericho Tpk. and Emory Rd. in Mineola.

Tournament Dates:
Wednesday, October 22rd
Wednesday, November 19th
Wednesday, December 10th 
Wednesday, March 11th

All tournaments begin at 5pm.
Check-in will begin at 4:30.

There will be three divisions by grade level (3^rd/4^th, 5^th/6^th and 7^th/8^th)  and every attempt will be made to have children compete based on the experience level indicated when registering.  We will use a round robin format with each participant playing 6 games of chess.  Each game will be played with the clock set at 8:00 minutes.  Chess sets will be provided.

There is a waiting area available in the building with limited viewing.
Siblings must be closely supervised.
